Something funny happened late last night.

Just a reminder before I tell the story:

I live in a gay neighborhood.

Last night we finished shooting pickups around 5:00 AM. We wrapped and I left around 5:30 AM. My friend Duane's wife was working on the shoot. Since it was so late I told her she can crash at my place. Duane used to crash at my place all the time.

So we drive over to my place in our two cars, her following me.

Monday I have street cleaning which means I can't park on one side on my street because I'd get a ticket in the morning. I have a parking pass for my area on my window so I am able to park on the street but all of my visitor parking passes are being used. This means that Duane's wife needed to park in my parking space (because I have no parking permit for her) and I would park on the street.

So it's hard for me to find a parking space. I start driving around a few blocks looking for a space. She is following me in her car. Eventually she pulls over near my house and stops following me.

I continue driving around and she starts following me again. I find a space, park, get out of my car and into her car, which now is right next to mine.

I open the door, there is something on the seat that is hers and she moves it so I can sit on the seat. I do so. I start talking about how to get to my place from here.

IT WASN'T HER OR HER CAR!

I walked into some random guys car and sat down on the seat and began telling him how to get to my place, and the funny thing was, he didn't mind at all! He loved it!

I mean, when this guy saw me (a straner) come into his car he moved someone off his seat so I can sit.

Like if the reverse happened to a guy, like some chick randomly jumps into a car and tells the guy how to get to her place that guy would be thrilled.

I didn't give him a chance to say or do anything. I just said "Sorry, I thought this was my friends car" and I ran away.
