So I've really started work on this Corman feature. I've spent the last few days trying to get a camera package together and all that is missing now one lens. Tomorrow morning I have about 2 hours in which I can make calls to try to find a certain lens before I need to head out to start making pickups. If I can't find it I'm screwed. Basically what I'm looking for is a B Mount Zoom lens. They don't really do B mount much anymore.
But I found out what I'm doing on the movie. I'm basically the camera do all person, and the 2nd unit DP. I'm very happy about this. It's the biggest movie I've worked on and hopefully there will be a good amount of 2nd unit stuff for me to shoot.
The short I made got listed on a web site so now I'm getting a crapload of hits. That's cool but I feel like most people are going to be very disappointed by my page. I mean this thing is really made for friends to see. But it's funny to think of all the people going to this page and thinking, "Who the fuck is this guy?" Perhaps something is thinking that right now.
I was going to make 2 more shorts this weekend but that isn't working out because we will be shooting the feature. I really want to get at least one done before the main production starts because I certainly won't be able to do much once the film starts. Once the film starts my entire life (and this page) will basically be put on hold. I'll try to post some pictures from the set but I don't know if that will even happen. I will seriously have little free time once the movie starts (but many people seem the think that a lack of free time is just what I need.)
Not much new stuff has happened really. I've just been pretty busy with work and with
pre-production of this movie.
