Wow, I haven't written one of these for a while.
I just finished posting all of my China updates. I realized I was never going to get around to proofreading them (like that makes a big difference for my writing anyway). So I posted them. Enough of my friends (and mom) asked to read them so I posted them. So now their are three possibilities that can happen:
1. I will become embarrassed enough of my poor grammar/spelling/idiocy that I will correct/edit the logs.
2. One of you will be embarrassed enough for me of my poor grammar/spelling/idiocy that they will correct/edit the logs.
3. Nothing (most likely)
I'm not asking anyone to do go over them or anything. I was just thinking it would be funny if that happened.
I haven't even read the things since I wrote them. I really don't remember what I said in them.
So the past week has not been terribly exciting. I can tell you the highlight.
I need to mention as a side note that right now my neighbors are screaming at each other.
The highlight of my previous week:
Josh finished bartending school. So the bartending school gets a call saying that they need a couple bartenders for a night. Josh was called.
So Josh is bartending for the Gay Pride thing that's going on in West Hollywood. He gives me a call because it's near my house and he can hook me up with free drinks. I show up (it was a 12 dollar charge to get in) and Josh is serving margaritas. He hooked me up with a bunch of free ones which was great. The funny is to see him talking to all the gay guys. Some of them were paying him 2 dollars a button to unbutton his shirt. Also I got to hear someone tell Josh that he has a "luscious ass." It was wonderful. He said he got a lot of business cards from the guys.
Actually going to the pride thing was really fun. I had a great time. It was on San Vincente from Santa Monica to Melrose, it was pretty big. You can safely guess that most people who were there were gay. What was so great about that however was just how open everyone was. I mean West Hollywood is pretty gay but this was different. It was just all these people walking around looking like that were just having a genuinely good time. Everyone just seemed to feel so open and happy. It was a really nice place to be.
So today we had a meeting of a bunch of the people I went to USC with. We played Volleyball at the beach. It was funny because all of us (especially me) are the sort that were picked last in gym class. So it was a pretty pathetic game, but very fun. My arms are burnt and I have a raccoon tan from my sunglasses.
Oh yeah, and I got a domain name. This page is now http://www.notunsafe.com. It still works if you go though it the other ways, but I figured I'd get a domain name to make things easier. I'm sick of saying http://lulkin.dyndns.org and everyone thinks that when I say ".org" I am saying orgy. That's funny but it gets old. It's like when I used to have a speech impediment and when I said that I like horror movies people thought I say that I liked whore movies.
I feel like such a loser getting a domain name like that. It really sounds like something some hip clothing company would try to get. I just like the way it sounds. I should make some flashy Flash/Java/VRML page.
I had to turn down a trip to Mexico this weekend with Josh C., because Josh S.'s mom was in town. I've been friends with Josh for years and this is the first time I've had a chance to meet his mom. She was very nice. It's always fun to meet someone after hearing about them for so long, and knowing their son. Just because you form so many expectations of the person. It's fun to see which of them are right.
As I write this I see all this HTML code on the screen. It's amazing how ugly HTML code looks. Click on view, then "Source" on Internet Explorer if you want to see it.
So I'm getting tired now, but I haven't written one of these in a while. I feel like I have a lot more stuff to say but I'm forgetting.
My parents are coming this weekend. I've already started cleaning my place up. My place isn't so messy or anything but it's important to me that my place looks good when they come up.
I'm going to go to bed now. Isn't that how most of these end?
