Because I haven't written an update for quite a while this update will cover about 2 weeks.

I forgot to mention something funny about court that happened. When the non-lawyer landlord who was suing Andy and Jen was asking the bailiff questions about how the court worked and what she should do, the bailiff responded with, "Just tell it to the judge." It was the first time that we've heard that said in correct context, we all starting laughing about it.

John and his friend Dante came up for a few days we ended up having a great time.

Also, Josh's friend Brain was visiting him so we all went out to Roscoe's together. Since it was a Friday night I was expecting the place to be really busy. I was sort of concerned about it because you can't make reservations there.

Turns out it wasn't busy at all. I was curious about when the place starts to get crowded so I asked the bus boy, "What time do you get busy tonight." When I asked him the question everyone at the table except me realized what the question sounded like. We think the bus boy did as well.

After Roscoes which was great we headed to the Gay bay.

Everytime we go to the gay bar Josh is normally able to talk the bartender into giving us free drinks.

Josh started asking the tattooed bartender (a muscular type kinda hairy manly man) what sort of tattoos John should get. He felt up John's arms (Johns description) and said he should get the same tattoo he has so he and John can match. We talked about tattoo's with him for a while. Then we left to go to Sunset Blvd. to get John a tattoo. Here are the pictures.

I've never seen anyone get tattooed before and it's always interested me. John has been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while and he's always said he'd get one in LA. Dante decided to get a pierce.

I started off by going into the piercing room with Dante. There was the piecing woman, and some other woman who decided to hang out and watch. Seeing the pierce get done wasn't bad at all, it didn't seem to even hurt him much.

Then there was John deciding on his tattoo. Once it was settled they started on him. He showed no pain at all but later said it was some of the worst pain he's ever felt. He was grinding his teeth when it was near the bone. At one point the artist did mention that he was "hurting the hell out of John" and laughed about it.

John's tattoo took a while so I went outside to get a slice of pizza. I overheard someone at the shop mentioning it was good pizza. When you order a slice they give you two slices that sort of make up one large slice. I decided that I would eat it.

I was in front of the tattoo parlor (all great stories begin this way) and some jerkface comes up and grabs my remaining slice of pizza that was on my plate and takes a bite of it, and places it back on my plate and walks off. This is big a guy who can most certainly kick my ass easily. I come up to him and offer him my pizza. I tell him I don't really want it any more and if he'd like it he's welcome to it. He takes out a wad of bills to show me that he has lots of money. I then ask him to buy me another piece.

I am saying this is all in a very non-confrontational manner. He says he will buy me another piece. I ask him for the money. He tells me to go buy one and he'll pay me back. I just ask for the three bucks. He refuses. I suggest that we go the restaurant together, it's only a few feet away. He doesn't want to. At one point he grabs my nose, and at another he starts pushing on my chest. Then some girl walks by us on the street. He makes some rude comment to her, she ignores him and keeps walking. He picks up the remaining pizza that was on my plate and throws it at her, it misses her. Then at some point he stopped and left.

Then one of his friends comes up to me and offered me five dollars. I thank him for what he trying to do but explain that it's not about the money at all and there is no need for him to give me his money.

Later another friend of his came up to me and offered me five dollars. As I saying thanks but no thanks to this person the asshole comes back and starts messing with me again. He didn't like me talking his friends. They ended up calming him down and he left me alone for the rest of the night.

Then headed back to my place. While we were walking around my neighborhood we saw that one of my neighbors was sitting on his couch facing the large windows that face the street. He was watching TV (I couldn't tell what he was watching) and masturbating. We took a picture of him. I'm not going to post the picture because that would just be wrong, but imagine what it's like to be sitting in your home masturbating and then suddenly seeing a flash and seeing like 5 people running away laughing.

After that we watched Southpark and Sealab 2021.

Saturday we slept very late (up till 4:00 the previous night). We headed out for lunch and then we decided to go to Vegas. John was renting a pretty slick SUV and it had unlimited mileage. It was the three of us and my friend Duane. We got their pretty late and walked around from casino to casino buying each other drinks. It was a pretty fun night of just hanging out and drinking.

The highlight of the night was seeing a hot blond chick leaning out of the window of her SUV stretch limo throwing up. She was getting vomit all over the limo and two of her friends were holding her hair back. I feel so bad about not having my camera. I was just imaging what it would be like to be puking out of cars window, seeing a camera flash, and then hearing someone tell you, "This will be on collegehumor.com tomorrow." And it would have been on collegehumor.com because my friend Jakob runs it.

Then John and Dante left and Leah came up a few days later.

We had a great time, she was up for 9 days.

The highlight of her stay was the trip to Mexico. We stayed for 2 nights. Here are the pictures from the Mexico trip.

The first night we were their the hostel was filled with some Christian group. That means that for the first time in years (as told to us by the hostel's owner) the hostel was dry….no alcohol. The youth group was pretty dorky and they weren't much for hanging out with the other people staying.

Also, the hostel was packed. So much so that Leah and I ended up sharing a trailer in back with the owner and his wife. Josh slept in my car.

So that night Leah and I took a long walk on the beach at night. It was great. The moonlight there is so bright you can read by it. I was thinking to myself over and over again that if I was lighting a night scene for a movie and it looked like this I would think it's too bright.

After the beach walk we hung out at fire and talked with a few people and then went to bed.

The next day we woke up around 9:00 and headed to the communal kitchen. Someone mentioned something about seacaves and everyone decided that they wanted to see them. There were 20 of us and we piled into 2 cars. One Jeep type thing, one Volvo station wagon.

The hike was beautiful. It was near the shore most of the way so there were tide pools all over. It was hard to keep walking. Someone told us that along the way you'll see so many great things that you'll get distracted not get to the caves (sounds like an old curse).

The cave was really great. About 25 percent of us had flashlights so we went in groups, one person in each group has a flashlight. The cave was pretty big and went very high. It was entirely pitch black except for our flashlights. Parts of the cave you had to crawl through, other parts huge wide open large spaces.

We all went through the cave for a while and then headed back.

It was pretty amazing that a group of 20 people all got along. And no one twisted an ankle or anything. Everyone got a little cut up on the rocks but no one got really hurt.

Then at night we hung out by the fire for a while.

In the morning Leah and I walked on the beach again. Some dog decided to adopt us. It was following us all over the place. We started climbing on the rocks too see how good of a rock climber the dog was and it was able to climb anything that we were able to.

We left a few hours later and gave a guy from our group a ride to Orange County.

Leah and I went to a restaurant in downtown LA called The Pantry. It's a diner that's been there forever. It's a really famous place and it's really good and really cheap. While I was there I ran into that jerkface who wanted to beat me up that night at the tattoo parlor. He definitely recognized me. I didn't say anything to him but I was tempted to tell him that I found out that I have hepatitis B and that he should get tested.

I didn't say anything because I felt pretty stupid for just not walking away from the fight the first time he started something with me so I didn't want to start anything again. It just wasn't worth it.

I should mention that I am fully aware of how much this update sucks. I have too much to write about so I'm not able to get into enough details about anything really. That always happens when I don't write my updates often enough. Things always happen that I want to write about but if I don't do it soon enough I either don't write about them, or when I do I forget too many of the details that made the event worth writing about.

Anyway, I need to stop writing now. I'm in the sort of mindset where I know I am unable to write anything interesting.

My Mom is coming up tomorrow so I'm sure we'll have a good time together. She hasn't been able to visit for a while, mostly because of my schedule.

Oh yeah, and the feature I was shooting has wrapped. And I just found out that Terminator 3 will be shooting for 6 months.
