wow, it's so nice to have an emergency row seat. some of them arn't even being used. that surppsisses me.
so 8 hours left of my 15 hour flight. I've already watched the family man and keeping the faith. next will be bedazelled and then legend of bagger vance. It was funny, during keeping the faith I actually recongzed palces that I've been to in NYC. That was really cool. The more I thinik about NYC the more i like it. it was really great. it's like NYC is like the cool parts of chicago except the whole city (at least the parts I saw) is like that. I mean you can walk around and get anyting. The lighting is cool to. the streets are very well lit and during the morning when my cab to the airport was driving we were driving down some cool thin street with 3 to 4 story buildings lining the street the lighing was just gergous. The tall buildings were blocking all direct sunlight so all the lighing was just this wonderful soft lighting that seem to come from nowhere. kind of like "magic hour". it wasn't so much like a cloudy day sort of soft light, it was much more dramitc because their were still great shadows on some of the buldings. I would have taken a picture but my camera was deep inside my backpack.
this morning i realized i was a dumbass and made my hotel reservation in hong knog for the wrong day. I didn't take into account that i get into hong kong a day after I leave NYC. I called my mom to e-mail the hotel and hopefully that went well. If not, I'm out 35 bucks and I may need tofind a new room tomarrow night. So, from looking at my china book i think what I'm going nto do is go to some area called ghindoux (something like that) they have really cool caves that you can go in, cheap places to stay, and bannana pancakes (really). It's not too far from hong kong. Then I want to go to bejhi to see the forbidden city, and the great wall.
According to the book one can get arrested and fined for basicly anything. people really do fear the police here. the book says that the police sometimes pull cars over if the driver is, or isn't wearing sunglasses (whichever the policeman feels like writing the ticket for) you then pay your ticket on the spot or get your car taken away. According to the book forigeners arn't ever supposed to ride bikes, but the book said that one can most likely get away with it. foriengers can't even stay in some of the hotels, but it;s not set which ones they can and which ones they can't stay it. it's all up to police. they don't like people camping out either. Also, I am to expect prosittutes to approach me, or call my room. that should be funny.
ok, time to read my book more. 8:21 left of the flight.
i just watched bedazzled (it's always weird to see the passage of time when reading something that someone wrote) so according to the screen in front of me I have 6:04 left till hong kong, and the only movie left to watch is legend of bagger vance, unless i decide to rewatch proof of life.
starting to get bumy now. the funny thing is, when the stewards tell us to sit the chinese women don't listen..
People reallay stare at this plampilot keyboard thing that i amn using, so many peopole have never seen anything like it before.
They gave us ramen noodles on the plane.
oh yeah, and the book says that if i try to I can eat some endangeres species.
i really feel like watching the moive being there right now for some reason.
wow they show squills on some flights, i wonder how they edit that. in proof of life they called someone a "wacko" instead of asshole. I bet lucas wouldn't want to see quills edited.
so now legend of bagger vance is done.
