Leah came up last weekend. I found out at the last second that I was going to have the weekend off. I haven't had a weekend off for a while, and I won't for a long time so we checked and we were able to get a ticket pretty cheap so she came up.

We went to the zoo and just went around LA, went to Pinks and stuff like that. We didn't make any definite plans of what to do but we had a good time.

It was just really weird for her to be up for such a short time. It was almost like we just went on a date something.

Regardless, we're both glad that she came up.

Unfortunately we were unable to put her on Bartalk, Josh's radio show. That would have been really fun.

So I've been working on that feature still on the weekends and that's still going well. I think things got a little shaky from on producing end of things but I really don't have anything to do with that end. So I actually don't even know what happened.

As I've mentioned many times before I live in a very gay neighborhood. It's a nice neighborhood, but I live right down the block from an adult book store. One cool thing about that is that I get the fun of watching people walk out of the book store with their discreet black paper bags. Normally people don't try to hide the fact that they are carrying the bag, but they make they act as nonchalant as possible, to the point of them attracting attention to themselves. It's very funny to watch.

It's also fun to see who comes in and out of the place all the time. A pretty good amount of well dressed men in suits actually.

The other day I was driving up my block and I stopped at a red light. Two guys walking in the cross walk in front of my car stared at me in that "I'm a tough mother and I can kick you ass" way. They then walked into the gay bar together. That really made me laugh.
