Pictures from the shoot

Part 1/2
Part 2/2
I've been working on a music video for the past three days. The first day was very short because it was a daylight exterior. We were shooting outside on some streets towing a car behind a truck on the streets of LA without a permit. It was pretty damn fun. We never got shut down like I thought we would. Some woman came up to us and started bitching at us and told us that she would call the police but they never showed up luckily. I've actually never been on a shoot were we got shut down.

Yesterday was a hell day. We were shooting in an toy warehouse (a very cool location) but it just took forever. We didn't have enough of a crew so things went very slowly. The owner of the warehouse brought his son along. I guess his son spends a lot of time at the warehouse. I talked to his son for a while. He was 10 years old and I haven't actually talked to a 10 year old for a while so I found it pretty interesting.

The kids name was Marc, and he spells his name the way I do. He said it's gay to spell it with a K. It cracked me up to hear a 10 year old say that. I was impressed that at 10 years old year realized that.

He took me around the warehouse, climbing on all the shelves and boxes and showing me about where he spies on the people who work there. To him this warehouse was a huge playhouse. It was honestly very fascinating to talk to him about it. He talked to me as if I was just another 10 year old. He asked me things like "Hey, you wanna go climb on that shelf and watch people?" It was so odd, but pretty fun.

He even showed me his porno stash. He had two Penthouses that he stole from his older brother. I promised not to tell anyone. I was thinking how funny and ironic it would have been if I stole them from him after he left. I just thought the idea of stealing a 10 year olds porno's was pretty funny.

When we wrapped yesterday one of the crew members who I never had any interaction (never said one word to her) came up to me to say goodbye. She put her hand out to shake my hand. I shook her hand but then kept holding on. I looked her in the eyes and said in a very serious voice how wonderful it was to work with her and how I hope to work with her again one day. Now keep in mind that this is a person who I never said one word to, or worked with at all. So everything that I was saying to her made no sense because I really didn't work with her. But regardless, after I said that to her she hugged me. Today on set she actually went out of her way to talk to me.

While I was driving to the location today a producer I do some work with gave me a call, so I just got two more days of work. I'll be 1sting it. It will be shooting for 2 days from Midnight to Noon. I have no idea what the project is or anything. It's always fun when that happens. That's one of the fun things about film is showing up for a job and having absolutely no idea what to expect. I really enjoy that.

I really do wonder what and where we are shooting that can only be shot for whatever reason from Midnight to Noon.

I'll decided a couple days ago that I'll be going to Chicago for Thanksgiving. I don't know what I'll be doing for Christmas yet. I kind of want to do my road trip then, it depends if my friend feels up to it then or not.

I have all the parts in for the arcade machine, but no time to work on it. I won't have any time to work on it again until after Thanksgiving.

Oh, and I got Metal Gear Solid 2. I basically got my Playstation 2 for that game. It's as good as I was hoping it would be. Once I beat it I'll be selling my Playstation 2 because I'll easily be able to sell it for what I paid for it. Since I'll have my arcade machine up I figure I won't be playing my PS2 very often, so I might as well sell it while I can still get top dollar for it.
