So I'm writing this update from a small town in Texas.

I finished off on Monster House 2 days ago, leaving the movie a few days early, to start work on a reality show. I signed a statement saying I wouldn't talk about the show so I can't say what show I'm working on, or what city in Texas I'm in but it's a real small town and work starts tomorrow and it looks like it will be a lot of fun.

Monster House ended up being great. I got bumped up to camera operator on it, and I ended up joining the camera union, which is something that's been a goal for a while now.

The crew on Monster House was really great. A lot of the same people from Polar Express, and a lot of new people I met that I'm sure I'll be friends with for a while.

And I'm also making more money now then I've ever made in my life before, so that's really cool.

There's couple people working on this reality show that I've worked with before and it's nice to see them again. I haven't met the producer of my unit yet so I'm a little anxious to meet her.

The NDA (non disclosure agreement) I signed is worth 1,000,000 dollars, so I really can't give out any info but it's really fun to be shooting a show that people are going to be watching on TV, and to see what really goes on behind the scenes on a reality show. I really can't wait to get started.

Once I'm done with this show I'm heading to Oklahoma to shoot a short a for a couple days, then back to LA, then hopefully to Chicago for a little bit. I've actually been working pretty steady for a while now so I'm looking forward to some time off.

I'm going to be spending about 3 and half weeks in Texas. I have my own hotel room which is pretty nice, but more importantly has high speed internet. I've never really lived out of a hotel room before, should be fun. I will say this, it's a very very small town.

Packing was tough because I had to pack for 3.5 weeks and still allow for my computer/xbox bag, my kino flos, and my expendables backpack...that allows for one bag for clothes. It's pretty tight, I hope I have enough stuff.

Anyway, I'm heading to bed now.
